Zen Judaism from Good for Nothing…

April 11, 2007

By the recommendation of the Mad One, I popped over to Good for Nothing’s blog and found this hysterical entry, which he pinched from Connexions: Zen Judaism.

A few teasers from it:

There is no escaping karma. In a previous life, you never called, you never wrote, you never visited. You bastard!

Zen is not easy. It takes effort to attain nothingness. And then what do you have? Bupkis.

The Tao does not speak. The Tao does not blame. The Tao does not take sides. The Tao has no expectations. The Tao demands nothing of others. The Tao is not Jewish.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. Forget this and attaining enlightenment will be the least of your problems.

Go check out the rest. Funny stuff!

It’s from a little book. Or maybe they made a little book from internet saying ;-).

    Either way, it’s a hoot.

I sent this link to the guy at church who runs the Christian / Zen meditation group and he thought it was hilarious!

    Thanks 🙂
