what’s needed is faith in Jesus Christ, son of the Living God, to the point of abiding in Him so that He may abide in you, because that deep and continuous communion will bring joy and peace and the answer to your prayers.

Got it y’all? Write it down, live it and get over yourselves.

Personally, I have tremendous faith in God and Christ Jesus, it’s humans I’m a bit sketchy on.

    Eileen,

I totally agree. What this poster shares is true. We need a relationship with Christ, and to “abide” in Him. But, the problem is that no one can come to faith in Christ Jesus in a Biblical sense, without knowing who Jesus actually is, without realizing He is also truly God.

There is just no point in any of us placing our faith in a mere man regardless of how much he might reveal the “divine,” or provide a good example of the godly life.

Christianity is about more than following a good example, or trying to live in a caring, moral way..
I shared on your friend Piskie’s blog. We fall so short, Eileen. Even the best person, humanly speaking, cannot love God totally. We don’t love our neighbor as ourself. All of us are in need of radical transformation as well as forgiveness. We need a Savior!!

This is an example of how good sentiments somehow fall short when the author is “anonymous”. I wish people wouldn’t be afraid to use a name. I really like to know a little about where it’s coming from. This of course is one of my little quirks. Sorry.
