I went to the doctor yesterday. I had a bit of a low fever when I got there, and I was dragging.
It’s a big practice, so I was seeing a doctor I’d never met before. This requires me to repeat lots of my health history. He asked me a few questions, poked at me a bit, and declared I probably have samonellosis, so he sent me off with a script to have my, um, necessaries examed at the lab. Oh yay…because really, humanity is just FULL of so much, erm, opportunity for dignity. NOT.
Did he have any blood drawn, you ask? No. Husband was like – don’t you think that was kind of a snap diagnosis? He didn’t want to take any blood? Um, no.
So, I took my um, necessaries to the lab this morning, and I will see how I feel in a few days. If I don’t feel better, I’ll go back.
Because I have loads of time for that.
Sigh.
